There is no reason that buying and selling real estate should be a slow and painful process, so at dotloop, we are reimagining the way real estate deals are done. Although it makes sense for most of our users who are real estate professionals to download the dotloop app, buyers and sellers often just use dotloop to sign certain documents, so it doesn’t make sense for them to install the app on their phone.

In May, we unveiled Android Instant Apps at Google I/O — Google’s annual developer conference — and our results were recently featured on Google’s Developers blog. Dotloop’s Android Instant Apps gives buyers and sellers a fully native experience when they need to sign their documents, and since launching, we have seen a 62% increase in buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals signing documents on mobile.

In the words of Sohel Dadia, our Director of Mobile Apps Engineering:

“Instant Apps helped us deliver a fast and frictionless native app experience for document e-sign. The results speak for themselves – our Android customers are starting and completing the signing process for real estate contracts at almost twice the rate of our customers on mobile web. After seeing the initial results, we are now exploring other ways that Instant Apps can help make real estate transactions even faster.”
