Add docs from anywhere and more!

To make the dotloop experience better for you, we bring updates and fixes every Thursday night. Every update of dotloop includes improvements for speed and reliability as well as additional features to help you do more with dotloop.

Reply with attachments:

When we introduced “upload via email” earlier this year, it was a hit. dotloop users, like you, began forwarding PDF documents to their dotloop upload email addresses, and many found it to be the fastest way to get PDF attachments into dotloop for electronic signatures.

We think dotloop users should be able to do more.

Starting Friday November 21st, you can reply to any dotloop email notification and include attachments – allowing you to quickly add documents to your loops from wherever you might be. For example, if you receive a message from a teammate or co-op agent requesting a document, you can then simply reply to that email notification with the requested document, and the attachment will automatically be added to your loop.

Here’s how it works:
Open an email notification from dotloop and hit reply

Attach pdf documents that you would like to have added to your loop and, if you need to, a message.

Open your loop, and you’ll see that the pdf that you attached will now be in a folder titled Message Attachments. Also, if you included a message with your reply, you can find that in the messaging section.

A new home for your task templates:

Your task templates can now be found in one, easily manageable location – The Templates Section(Makes sense, right?) To edit existing, or create new task templates, click “Tasks” within the templates section – just as you would within your loops!

Pro tip: click the arrow next to the template name to do things like rename the template, hide it from your team by default and more!

That’s all folks! Be sure to check back every week to learn about the updates as they get released, and if you have any questions check out our support page!
