dotloop is a great tool for REALTORS, helping them to manage transactions in one, cohesive place. It’s also a system that’s great for service providers, too!

For companies like Real Estate Support Team and its owner, Tammy Marsh, dotloop has become an indispensable tool in their efforts to keep their clients on track, on point, and in the loop. Tammy leads a team of Virtual Assistants (VAs) that work with hundreds of REALTORS all over the country. To keep all of their transactions straight and organized, it was going to take a tool that didn’t just do one thing. They needed a tool that did everything.

dotloop: Tell us about your company. How did you get started?

Tammy: I started Real Estate Support Team in 2000. We’re an independent Transaction Coordination company that specializes in helping REALTORS manage their contracts, from offer to closing.

dotloop: Before you started using dotloop-DASHBOARD, what sort of systems did you use to get things done? How has transaction management changed for you?

Tammy: We have hundreds of REALTOR customers all over the country. Keeping all of their records straight is no easy task. Before adopting dotloop, we used 4 or 5 different tools to get everything done. But with dotloop, it’s easy; it’s the only thing we need. We were able to eliminate every other tool we were using. The dotloop system is easy, easy, easy. It’s helped make things so much less cumbersome and it’s streamlined all our processes.

dotloop: Compared to what you were spending before, how has dotloop changed things for you?

Tammy: That’s been one of the best things! Since we started using dotloop in 2012, our costs for systems have been cut in half. In HALF! That’s a huge difference; we’ve saved a ton by switching to dotloop.

dotloop: When you were considering investing in dotloop-DASHBOARD, what were your biggest considerations? What things were priorities for you?

Tammy: We wanted to simplify. That was key. Before dotloop, keeping everyone glued to the paper trail was tricky business, but with dotloop, all of that is ancient history. dotloop allows us to do more in less time, and much more efficiently, at that.

dotloop: When did you decided to make the switch to dotloop-DASHBOARD?

Tammy: We started using DASHBOARD at the end of 2012. We’d tried several other tools, but none of them really “got there”, you know? With dotloop, we don’t need anything else. dotloop, quite literally, does it all.

dotloop: What does your team think of dotloop? How was the transition for them?

Tammy: My whole team uses DASHBOARD. The transition was absolutely seamless and we’re all on board. We have 8 locations across 3 states; dotloop’s interface and ease of use makes it feel like we’re all in the same room. Making the switch was easy and we’ve never looked back.

dotloop: Would you recommend dotloop to someone you know?

Tammy: Are you kidding? I recommend it to everybody. I work, as I mentioned, with REALTORS all over the country. It’s the perfect solution for them and I recommend it to all of them.

dotloop: What’s something that has surprised you about dotloop? Is there something you really love about it?

Tammy: Honestly, I’ve been surprised by the ease of it all. dotloop lets us do our jobs from anywhere. Gone are all the clunky file cabinets, the mountains of paper, and stacks of file folders. Everything we do is organized, neat, clean … we love it.

As a business owner, I look at things a bit differently than my team, I think. With dotloop, I never have to worry. If I have to be out of the office, whether it’s for a quick appointment or for a vacation, I don’t have to think twice about it. dotloop gives me the confidence to know that things are done right and the calm that comes from knowing I can check in from anyplace at any time. dotloop has changed the way we do business, and it’s changed it for the better.
